Now only God knows what will happen in future?

Fall In A Deep Love

EÁMANË was, as all lovers are, full of doubts and questions. She needed assurances from Fingolfin, who was more than obliging at professing his love.

“How deep is your love?”

“It is deeper than the ocean, and deeper still, than your wishes,” replied Fingolfin.

“How tall is your love?”

“It is taller than the sky, and taller still, than your dreams.”

“Do you love me?”

“Yes I do, why would you need to ask?”

Eámanë looked Fingolfin in the eye long and hard, and told him“Everything I ask about, you manage to answer in rhetoric and metaphor. Everything surpasses me- the depth and height of your love surpasses all that matters to me.” Fingolfin stared back at Eámanë's face and replied “You surpass me”, with a blush he could have assured her was redder than the sun, and redder still than her lips, or her love. Eámanë left Fingolfin's arms, pacing under the tree's shade where they rested, irked and looking disgustedly at her lover.

“You cannot compare yourself to what is divine,” replied Fingolfin. “You are a mortal, and will never surpass these things, as I won't either. That is the way of the world.”

“If I cannot surpass it, then what can I surpass? My friends are all naïve and simpleminded. But I feel the shimmering stars lure me, calling me to join their fold. I feel the fragrant flowers pull me, calling me to join their patch. Why am I myself, that cannot surpass anything?”

Fingolfin, who wasn't as wise as he would have wanted to be, cleared his throat, and replied while getting up as well, “That is a question many might ask, and never find the answer to.”

Eámanë bit her lip, and frowned at Fingolfin.

“I wish I could fly. I wish I could live forever. I wish I could be somebody else.”

“But none of that is possible,” laughed out Fingolfin, without meaning to.
“No!” Eámanë was greatly angered. “There has to be ways. There must have been others before me, in my position. Existence would be meaningless without surpassing anything.”

“I'm sure there have been plenty before you, or before me; in the end of the day it's not so terrible, this existence. But it's all a matter of what you will settle for.”

“That is terrible! I wish to learn the meaning of life, I wish to learn everything and surpass whatever comes my way.”

“This world is a dangerous place, but it is beautiful too. We feel like we must know our place in the Big Plan. But maybe there is none. We are cursed, yes. We are cursed in our desire to know. Maybe we are simply meant to exist. To surpass love, we would have to be born as different things entirely.”

“Then there is nothing for me!” exclaimed Eámanë.

“That is not true,” Fingolfin dejectedly replied, “You have yourself, and you have my love in its entirety.”

“And nothing else? How does it amount to anything if I'm unhappy with it? My peers are foolish and I'm not them. I'm myself but I want to be more.”

“It's not a matter of happiness, when all is said and done. Love is vital and the only thing that, for us, will have any meaning- good or bad. You should embrace its splendor, the grand heights and depths we mortals cannot reach. It's the only peace we will ever find. It will give us strength when we need it, and the will to do extremely difficult things for it.”

And so Fingolfin and Eámanë returned to their place under the tree, in each other's embrace, and Eámanë no longer felt inferior- she only felt separate, from her friends, because she began to understand the magnificence of love.

“Fingolfin, how much do you love me?”

“If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky- that would be the splendor of love that we mortals cannot see or surpass. That is how much you have taught me to love you.”

Movie For Valentine Week

Love Actually

Writer-director Richard Curtis counts down the five weeks before Christmas, in this delightful romantic comedy. Among a wide array of meet-cute couples, the movie intertwines so many characters that their flirtations last the entire feature. Whenever it gets to be too much he cuts to Bill Nighy, a washed-up 70s rock star who is cynically pushing his Christmas record to the top of the charts.

Roman Holiday

This classic romantic comedy introduced Audrey Hepburn to audiences as a modern-day princess. Stifled by her royal entourage on a trip to Rome, Hepburn's Princess Ann escapes to explore the Italian city on her own. While incognito, she falls in love with an American newspaperman, Joe Bradley (Gregory Peck). When Bradley learns of Ann's true identity, he finds himself torn between following his nose for news--and turning her into a big story--or the growing affections of his heart.

My Best Friends Wedding

When Julianne made a deal with her best friend Michael to marry each other if, by the ripe old age of 28, they had not yet found their true love, she never really doubted it would come to pass. But jealousy rears its ugly head when she discovers he is engaged to another woman, and, what's more, that she is perfect for him.

There is something about Mary

There's Something About Mary is a no-holds-barred comedy in which 30-something Ben Stiller locates and courts his high school dream girl (Cameron Diaz), unwittingly enlisting the help of some of her more hilariously psychotic suitors. The movie is riddled with in-your-face gags and unapologetic raunchiness disguised as a riotously funny love story that is actually very sweet. Be amazed at the impeccable casting and stellar performances of the supporting players.

A Walk to Remember

Landon Carter (Shane West) and his friends are the coolest kids in Beaufort, North Carolina. Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) is the opposite--there does not seem to be anything cool about her. When a prank planned by Landon and his friend goes terribly wrong, the principal sentences him to tutoring on the weekends and working on the school play, activities in which Jamie is involved. As the two begin spending time together, Landon finds himself intrigued by this guileless girl who sees beauty in everything and exhibits unwavering faith in people and in the world.

Mary and Jesus In Lava Lamp?

An Australian man says his life has been blessed since an image of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus appeared in his lava lamp.

The man, who gives his name as John Smith of Sydney, has set up a shrine to the lava lamp in his home and on his holymarylamp.com website.

"This is a true, tangible miracle that is not just an optical illusion. It is visible in all directions and permanently frozen in this shape," he told News.com.au.

He explained on his website: "This happened about a year ago and I have kept the lamp hidden since. I now want the world to know of its existence.

"I had been going through a tough time and was paying for a sign... a divine sign from God that I was not alone and that all would work out fine," he explains on the website.

"I turned on my brand new lava lamp and watched in awe as the unmistakeable image of the Holy Mary cradling the Baby Jesus appeared. I immediately turned off the lamp and the lava has remained in this position ever since."

After the revelation of the lava lamp Mr Smith said his life turned around.

"Only a couple of weeks after Holy Mary appeared to me in the lava lamp every facet of my life began to miraculously transform," he said.

"I met the most incredible woman, my angel here on earth. Since then we have gotten engaged, phenomenal job offers have come flooding in, money keeps presenting itself and we are blessed by the warmth and love of angels constantly protecting and guiding us."

Marriage on Bamboo Poles

The brides all wore traditional wedding dresses while the grooms wore suits for the stunt on the Xiangjiang River in Zunyi city, Guizhou province.

All three couples belong to the local single bamboo rafting club, and chose to get married on the water to show their skill at the sport, reports People Daily.

The sport involves racing on the river while balancing on a locally produced bamboo pole around 20cm in diameter.

"They can sit or stand on the piece of bamboo and they can race and compete at other tasks using a thin bamboo oar," explains a club spokesman.

The Zunyi city sporting office says it is trying to promote the new sport and hopes it will become popular across the city.

Tips For Love Letter

This article will give you a great relief if you're struggling to write a letter to your beloved. May be, you've wasted a lot of papers, broken a number of pens, torn up almost all the hair of your head. But it will happen no more. Just follow the tips and put the right on the heart of a paper.

Dear, dearest, sweetheart- whatever you address him or her must be according to the progress of relation. You shouldn't address one too closely who has a relation of a couple of weeks with you. If your relation is much matured, you can call each other by a nickname. This is an exquisite expression of love. Think yourself. Write down what you like to call him or her whenever you see. Don't write down all your passions in the first paragraph of your letter. Spread them all over your letter. Never, never, never do a spelling mistake. It will just destroy the appeal of your letter. Try to use simple significant words instead of obscure and long words to express your passions of love. There is no hard and fast rule that the letter must be a long one. Write down the words of your mind on the paper in one or two sentences or just write "I love you" on a white sheet-that's enough. Care about the words of your letter. Don't write anything that makes your love just a friendly relation. It will ruin your love. At the end, you can put the name given by him or her or "yours" instead of your signature. Quotes from famous songs or poems or famous persons can be used in the letter. But they must be relevant. You should keep in mind that your letter may be printed in future. In the eighteenth century, People preserved their love letters in frames. You can do so. You can also attach a photograph on the top of the letter. Use perfume on the paper if you want. But don't use excessively, Because it will draw the attention of your brothers, sisters or parents. Instead of paper you can write at the side of a card.

Don't think much, sit down to write. Sit down with a blank sheet of paper and you'll get everything you wanted to write. Express your love. May be, you are afraid if he or she doesn't respond. But don't make late. Otherwise, your love will be someone else's. So, don't hesitate to say-"I love you". Send cards. Hallmarks or Archie's are the best to express to your love. Send flowers with a short letter.
A huge basket of flowers or a little bunch of flowers-both are fine. But red roses are the best of all the flowers. You can gift him or her a teddy bear or a show-piece with "I love you" written on them. You can do so if you find everything positive about the relation. Otherwise don't make a direct approach like this Tell him or her to be your valentine on the next Valentines' Day.

Above all, no need thinking so much or doing so many things. Just go to a romantic place with your love and say what you've wanted to say so long.

Couples Hold "Kiss and Hug" Protest

A protest will be held on March 26th in Calcutta, India by couples who are demanding that a special location should be made for them to show affection to their partners without being harassed by police officers.

The protest will have more than 100 couples who will stand outside the Calcutta city mayor's office and demand that a special area should be introduced for them. "Our mayor does not seem to have any idea about love. He says we don't need a separate love zone.

So we have decided to have couples hug and kiss in front in the Calcutta Municipal Corporation where he works," Rupak Manush, president of Lovers' Organization For Voluntary Exhibition (LOVE). In India kissing is regarded as inappropriate behaviour in public.

The mayor of Calcutta is totally against this protest and states, " There is no need for love zones for romantics. This is a bogus demand. Let them protest."

92 Year Old Groom Still Looking For Bride

Egyptian authorities have banned a 92-year-old Saudi man from marrying a poor teenage girl 75 years his junior, a judicial source said on Saturday.

The justice ministry made its ruling under a law designed to prevent wealthy Arabs from the Gulf from snapping up young Egyptian girls and which forbids marriage when there is an age gap of 25 years or more.

The unidentified Saudi holidaymaker proposed marriage to a 17-year-old village girl and offered a dowry of about 28,000 dollars as well as jewelry, the source said."Her parents, who are very poor, accepted," he told Agence France Presse.

But the justice ministry refused to register the marriage, citing the legislation brought in during the Gulf oil boom.

However, according to Egypt's Al-Akhbar newspaper, the authorities allowed 173 such marriages last year after the foreign husbands paid the equivalent of 8,000 dollars to the Egyptian National Bank.
