When I stand, I stand Firmly

When I Trod, I trod Confidently

When I work, I work Diligently

When I Give, I give Heartily

When I Receive, I receive Thankfully When I Deal, I deal Honestly

When There’s Knowledge, I grasp Hungrily

When I Listen, I Listen Attentively

When I Believe, I Believe in Reality When I Speck, I speck with Authority

When I am Challenge, I face it Courageously

When in Doubt, I approach Cautiously

When it’s Unsafe, I focus on Security

When I Socialize, I do it Joyfully

When I am Tired, I Relax Freely

When I Sleep, I Sleep Peacefully

When I Pray, I Pray Sincerely

When I do Anything, It’s to my Best Ability

Yes! I Live With Pride and Dignity

MY SPECIAL FRIEND

Isn’t it funny
How some special people
Don’t realize they are special at all?
They’re thoughtful
Without even thinking about it.
They’re always right there
When you call
They share, not expecting
A thing in return
Yet always seem richer
For giving—
Isn’t it lovely how
Those special people
Can teach us
So much about living!
You’re one of those Special People

Shakespeare

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest,
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st.
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,

TEMPLE OF THE KING

One day in the year of the fox
Came a time remembered well
When the strong young man of the rising sun
Heard the tolling of the great black bell


One day in the year of the fox
When the bell began to ring
Meant the time had cometh
For one to go to the temple of the king


There in the middle of the circle he stands
Searching, seeking
With just one touch of his trembling hand
The answer will be found


Daylight waits while the old man sighs
Heaven help me
And then like the rush of a thousand wings
It shines upon the one


And the day had just begun


One day in the year of the fox

Then all could see by the shine in his eyes
The answer had been found


Back with the people in the circle
He stands
Giving, feeling
With just one touch of a strong right hand
They know
Of the temple and the king
